Yup. Einstein was wrong: Bell’s inequalities are violated in nature, so no classical local hidden variable theory can account for the observed behavior of matter. If you want a classical theory so “God doesn’t play dice”, you have to allow instantaneous action at a distance to simulate what quantum mechanics describes.

Now Einstein did a magnificent job of describing how strange space and time are, but his anti-quantum intuitions were wrong.
