I do not want to diminish this story, but I wish there would be as much coverage about the Soviet atrocities. It seems that for every ten Nazi horror stories, we might get one Soviet horror story. IMO.
The problem is that the Communist Soviet archives were only briefly opened... and V.V.Putin is closing them back again. We were able to get all the German archives.
Communist tyranny was horrible, and Communist apologists I fear will burn in Hell lest they repent. It’s not so much a preference against Germans and for Soviets... its availability. Germany is a free society today; Russia is only partly free.
