Doesn’t MASS Registry of Motor Vehicles ask folks to narc on neighbors who register their cars in NH or RI in order to avoid the higher taxes? It seems to me that this should be a slam dunk case of tax evasion.

Doesn’t MASS Registry of Motor Vehicles ask folks to narc on neighbors who register their cars in NH or RI in order to avoid the higher taxes?

We have the same problem in Kansas. The damn personal property tax is so high that thousands of Kansans tag their vehicles in other states. So the state loses out on tens of millions of dollars in revenue every year.
