Former Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod said Thursday that she would consider legal action against the conservative blogger who posted the video that led to her ouster.
Speaking on CBS' Early Show, Sherrod said that while she hasn't actively talked about suing Andrew Breitbart, she "would definitely consider it."
Sherrod said that Breitbart's intentions were obvious - but misguided.

Yup.
Shep Smith is on FOX right now misreporting the entire incident. Don’t know why FOX employs that idiot.
Yes, one thing. Out of the goodness of her heart she will not sue Breitbart but she would consider it.
We shall learn how to sue Huffington et all, if this goes forward.
Sue for what?
if she does sue it would be the same grounds Islam uses against those that explain what Islam is.
Harassment and it usually works. But Islam picks it's targets from those that want to avoid any kind of law suite.
Sarah Palin should sue Charlies Gibson.
Apparently they weren't so obvious, not just to Sherrod but to so many here, talking-heads, bloggers ... way too many have completely missed the point Breitbart intended (and did in fact) make.
An excerpt is NOT an edit. He did not edit anything whatever.
I just saw him to that and it royally pissed me off. I can’t believe he’s still there. He SUX!
No one snookered Breitbart. The point of showing the video was the reaction of the NAACP members and leadership present as she told her story of shorting a white farmer and turning him over to a lawyer of his kind. They cheered and applauded her institutional racism! If I were Breitbart, Id be saying bring on the lawsuit, idiot!!The complete tape is a confirmation of her racist pitch to a supportive racist audience.
Her continued public statements sharpen the image of a bitter racist.
She's moving the meter--not Breitbart, Fox, strawmen Tea Party members.
Frank Zappa's "Brown Shoes Don't Make It" contains the line:
Do you love it, do you hate it?
There it is, the way you made it.
She’ll think of something. I guess she needs more $$, probably already spent what she won when she sued the government. If she can’t win against Andrew, she can always sue Odungo for firing her.
Great idea.
Then Brietbart can cross-complain aginst the NAACP, Obama, and the USDA—open the Pandora’s Box.
Let the chips fall where they may.
is this necessarily a bad thing??
i am not standing up for sherrod just thing out loud- if she sued Brietbart wouldn’t she be opening up the pandora’s box for future suits against liberal media outlets that constantly twist stories and facts against conservatives in a way 100 times worse than what we’ve seen???
He's got the goods on somebody (or multiple somebodys), so if the lefties can attack his credibility now, who's going to believe him when he dumps his can of worms on the table?
They just want to provide their wholely-owned subsidiary media puppets with fodder to discredit him when he drops more of this kind of stuff on us.
What false light? I'm 'bout worn out here, just what *context* was she taken out of, what part of the supposed change-of-heart enlightenment moment did he leave out?
Nice segue into FZ.
Brown shoes, Don’t fake it.
“Did he even accuse her of anything?”
Even if he did, if there were a law against calling someone a racist the court system would shut down.
How does he *imply* when it was unedited video, her direct words, nothing changed or altered?? What implication do you claim to be this lie?
Ok, that is what I meant, he merely shortened the tape, he didn’t change it. I said that much in my comment, that he didn’t change it and that she said what she said and the audience reacted they way they did, which was in a racist manner. His point was the racism shown by the NAACP audience.
