Former Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod said Thursday that she would consider legal action against the conservative blogger who posted the video that led to her ouster.
Speaking on CBS' Early Show, Sherrod said that while she hasn't actively talked about suing Andrew Breitbart, she "would definitely consider it."
Sherrod said that Breitbart's intentions were obvious - but misguided.

I am certain my comments would be construed as racist by any damned liberal who reads them, but WHY does every wronged African-American make everythign about GITTIN PAID? I think it just validates the white racists’ perception, each and every time it happens. Not about justice, it’s about the Benjamins.
Well, actually since she is an employee of the Executive Branch, she IS a public figure and we have every right right to know what kind of baloney is coming out of her mouth while she is representing our gov't.
Breitbart was not exposing her, he was showing that the audience, the NAACP, was laughing and agreeing with her comments about discriminating against the white farmer.
Ms. Sherrod, you have obviously been wronged. It is your duty to minorities everywhere to make it your life’s mission to keep this incident in the media spotlight as long as possible.
DO IT BITCH!
Sue? On what grounds?
“Im not a lawyer but I think the idea would be that he presented her in a false light and therefore defamed her.”
She is a public servant. She has made public speeches that were recorded. Her words were never tampered with. She hasn’t got a leg to stand on in a suit against Brietbart. Obama, NAACP, and the USDA, however, is in high cotton time in lawsuitville.
Did Breitbart fire her?
Did he even accuse her of anything?
Were these not her own words, context or not?
Let it roll Shirley!
Breitbart posted what the NAACertainCP gave him!
if the excerpt showed her in a false light,. it was due to NAACCP editing- not Breibart. He posted what they released!
Let’s roll shirley
what was that law again that gives me the right to sue someone for showing a clip from something I said in a public forum?
Slightly off topic. August 08.DNC. Rev. “Jeremiah Wright in a skirt is Chief Executive Officer of this months Democratic National Convention in Denver.” Obamas head will be crowned by Leah Daughtry, who ardently believes in the same Marxist Black Liberation Theology preached by Wright.
...But wait theres more! This New York-born Pentecostal minister is not only the head of their religious outreach, shes the CEO of the Democratic National Convention.

Behind her as she preached, a simple wooden cross hung on a brick wall in the vaulted and sizable sanctuary of the church, which is headed by her father, Herbert Daughtry. A prison convert who served time in his early 20s for armed robbery and passing bad checks, Herbert Daughtry whose father founded the church and whose grandfather and great-grandfather were also ministers became the churchs pastor 50 years ago, and today Leah was delivering the sermon as part of an anniversary celebration. Below the sanctuary, in the fellowship hall, a banner for slavery reparations proclaimed, They Owe Us. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/20/magazine/20minister-t.html?_r=1&oref=sloginhttp://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/20/magazine/20minister-t.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
“Sherrod is an idiot. Her case is against her idiot employer.”
Absolutely - and it’s Breitbart who has created this opportunity for her to once again successfully sue the Government for millions!
Only in America!
In the age of Kagan, she might win. It matters not that all Breitbart did was post video of what she said; his implications were a lie.
I’m starting to think that Sherrod sent the tape to BB herself.... lol
If so, she’s the most dangerous and brilliant manipulator currently in America.
/I’m kidding
His implications were that the members of the NAACP audience were racist, and that was no lie.
Now, it is Sherrod who is taking the posting out of context. Breitbart’s intent was not so much to expose Sherrod as a racist (or former racist) as it was to expose the NAACP as a bunch of racists who cheered on the racist account of a civil servant under-serving a White citizen.
The left is trying to say that Sherrod was the focus of the story. She was not. The focus of the story was the audience and their positive reaction to a story of anti-White bigotry.
Go for it, you Racist Idiot Skank.
