The breaking news is that Shirley Sherrod has been appointed to a civil rights post.
Her Husband Chales Sherrod was a founding member of the SNCC which claims to have been a non violent resistance group but honestly they sound like they were less sucessful with the non violent part than they would have hoped. Basically they sound like marxists.
Some of Mr Sherrod’s SNCC pals are former Washington, D.C. mayor Marion Barry, Congressman John Lewis and NAACP chairman Julian Bond.
What is the missing word?
It really bothered me that Pres. Bush did not mount a defense to this as it was his right and prerogative. I realize with great difficulty that this was his style and it cost us dearly.

Context matters
After a tape was released where Shirley Sherrod made seemingly racist statements - the administration immediately terminated her (according to Sherrod) because she would 'be on Glenn Beck tonight' (gee, think you are in Obama's head?). Glenn wouldn't even have covered the story because Sherrod's defense holds up - the full context of the speech was how she learned a lesson about NOT basing things purely on race.
