Heck the Israeli's probably already are a subcontractor for important tech parts for the F-35. Either that or they will know all they need to know to modify them after they take one apart the first time.
Shortly after they do take on apart we will be buying their upgrades to the F-35 as it will be a better aircraft when their tech folks get to it.
