that was uncalled for...
Its not about being fair.
Its about reality.
Go check the complete tape this morning and listen to the conservative Bill Bennett on radio !Then how about an apology? but that won’t happen.
Bretibart is an ally, but in this case he screwed up or he is out to make money, cause that’s what bloggers do.
the Witch Hunt is on full scale here....and its been shown up by the playing of the whole tape!
Even though the whole tape exonerates sherrod and also those who listened to her as they too had similar experiences and some had changes....Gondring,I doubt we will get an apology for all the nasty comments here to us last night.
We at Freeper couldn’t even have a DISCUSSION ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES of the tape , couldn’t present other interpretations or views...without being slammed and personally insulted.
I doubt that those who flamed us will actually look at the whole tape and reflect.
go look at the WHOLE Tape...
On the other hand, don’t look at something and reflect on your knee jerk reaction...Just stay committed to the idea that NO BLACK person could ever have a change of heart and make such a presentation at an NAACP meeting.
Whatever you do, personally insult anyone who considers you look at the evidence!
that is NOT why Breitbart showed the snippet of her tape.
Your pointing out what she said at the end....typical of how Liberals argue...Just switch the focus of the argument at the end...
Watch today.....the so called conservatives have to keep the hate going in the name of being tough...even at the risk of slamming fellow conservatives for just wanting to get the story straight.
It doesn’t matter which part is racist...which part is not...who this person is...
you had a lot more patience than I did.
Try watching the whole tape.
Are you talking about the posters here?
LOL.
Now watch Obama re-instate her and blame the racist Tea Party for causing this.
In case you hadn’t noticed, the NAACP is the audience reacting.
You are owed an apology like Media Matters is owed an apology.
Well, I shut up and went to bed anyway! :p
Did she explain what she meant by, “It’s not about black and white, well yes it is about black and white.” (I’m paraphrasing, but that is what she said). Which is it? It sounds as if she’s trying to have her cake and eat it too. It’s not about skin color, but it is about skin color.
Well, there IS that....
Actually, many of us can multi-task. I don’t have to forget one thing to remember another. :)
It seems that this part is getting very little discussion, for some reason, but I find that part troubling. I could not tell from listening to her if she thought race was an issue or not, at least not when she says “well it IS sort of a black vs white thing”.
Of course, people with differing opinions are also accused of being on a “witch hunt”....
I never said she didn’t have a change of heart and change her racist ways. I have no way of knowing.
It’s your suggestion that she and the NAACP were all sharing a cathartic moment of enlightenment and group repentence, and that is why they were laughing and applauding how she did whitey wrong, that I find ridiculous.
I don't object to the actions she describes. I find them repulsive, but it was 24 years ago; people change, right?
She seems to have changed, but she's still a racist...because she thinks of "my kind" and "not my kind" in terms of race. That's racist. That's racist.
She is not an example for anyone to emulate.
