It is conceivable that Sherrod was going to work the story around to one of reconciliation. It wasn’t that from the video which has been posted. However, her remarks could have been an honest description of her feelings during the meeting which she later overcame in order to help the white farmer. There is a lady from Georgia who is claiming to be the “wronged” farmer.
Meanwhile, I hope someone from our side is checking up on those folks who are vouching for her now. They could also be shills.
It is also possible that Andrew Breitbart did not have the full video. In that case, posting what he had was still excusable.
It is NOT possible to excuse the NAACP members who responded during her speech. Those responses demonstrate far more racism that what has been depicted at Tea Party gatherings.
My reading of the NAACP position is that they are going to try to locate the full tape, which as I mentioned may not have been available to Andrew. My reading is that they will conclude if the tape can be EDITED to exonerate their side, including muddling the racist responses of the NAACP crowd, and be used to blast Andrew Breitbart. We will see.
Racism and leftism is not about Race at all. The Democrats could give a whit about "race" or the "little guy". They are anti-American and are using race to divide America. Leftists, Democrats and race hustlers cannot stand tall on their core belief's in this Country. They have to hide around double speak and meet in small venue's of like minds then go out and spew their lies and hijack more of the English language.
The democrats cannot survive much longer as a party in tact since their policies of "race" and "groups" are at odds with American values; not to mention the internal strife as each "race" or "group" tries to solidify more power. The Democrats and complicit lamestream are just good at polishing turds and making it look like there is some "unification" within their party.

"It is NOT possible to excuse the NAACP members who responded during her speech."
That's the difference here concerning the racism charge. The only racism charge against the tea party that has any validity is the possibility of racist signs. I have not seen those signs, but lets suppose for a moment they exist. Does that mean the tea party is racist? Certainly not. Does that mean that someone attending the tea party is racist? Probably. However, that person could also be a plant ala Alinsky style also. We just don't know.
The important thing is that no one who is speaking or who is organizing and coordinating the differing tea partys has been shown to be racist. You may be able to say that Williams who wrote the piece that everyone is up in arms about is guilty of poor taste. When doing satire, especially satire of controversial subjects, it is easy to miss the mark. That doesn't make him a racist, he was trying to use satire to prove a point. I got it, but others may not have. As you have outlined, actual NAACP members at that speech were nodding in agreement with her former racists ways. I'm surprised we didn't hear an amen from the crowd when talking about not helping the white farmer. Those were not fringe members of the NAACP, but participating, full fledged, dues paying members. Big difference from someone who comes to a free event and brings a sign.
