(Racist) USDA employee resigns over statements about white farmer (CNN)

A black Agriculture Department employee resigned Monday after conservative media outlets aired a video of her telling an audience she had not given a white farmer "the full force of what I could do" to help him save the family farm.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said he had accepted the resignation of Shirley Sherrod, the department's state director of rural development for Georgia.

"There is zero tolerance for discrimination at USDA, and I strongly condemn any act of discrimination against any person," Vilsack said. "We have been working hard through the past 18 months to reverse the checkered civil rights history at the department and take the issue of fairness and equality very seriously."

Conservative website publisher Andrew Breitbart originally posted the video, which was quickly picked up by Fox News. The video claims Sherrod's remarks were delivered March 27 to an NAACP Freedom Fund banquet, but it is not clear that is the case, nor is it clear where the event was held or how many people were in attendance.

Now that she was thrown under the bus, you can expect the MSM to sweep this right down the memory hole.

The MSM is off to a good start. Just compare a Google news search for Shirley Sherrod and "Mark Williams" + tea party , and you'll see what is news and what isn't. Sherrod has 8 entries, and Williams has 615.

Sherrod is (was) a Government official, had a billion dollar budget, had videotape of her racist remarks, and now has officially resigned, with a USDA press release. All news, news, news and more news. But, the MSM will not report it.

Anyone notice a problem with the very first sentence? CNN feels the need to point out that “conservative” sites aired the video. You’d think that a story this big would be happily aired by “real” media regardless of political bent.

Search for Shirley Sherrod on Google news, then click on the related stories. They are all stories slamming the Tea Party.

>>If they want to be “more equal” than anyone else, then they are all done for.

What do you mean “if they want”? “More equal” has been institutionalized for decades with Affirmative Action, which is really an Orwellian term for “racist racial preferences”.

They *expect* more equal since they’ve had it so long.

This is what a black ‘judge’ and black social worker in Omaha has done to our white family and white grandchildren in Omaha.

Going on more than two years now. None of the lawyers (who are all white) will challenge or do anything for us or the family. The black judge has even published articles in the past that there are not enough non-minorities in ‘the system’ and nobody will touch it.
