What you will never understand, because you're so blinded by your inflated ego and warped sense of the importance of NRB is that Free Republic isn't just another web site; it is THE premier conservative web site. If that weren't so, FReepers would be pimping Free Republic on NRB, not the other way around.
I think your ridiculous, neener-neener-neener-type ad hominem attacks on me, after the Admin Mod calmly explained the situation to 'gunner and me, say a lot about you and I want your posts to remain so my fellow FReepers can see them. In my opinion, you'll never be a real FReeper until you get rid of that chip on your shoulder and maybe hang around to discuss your blog posts instead of posting and dashing.
Jim Robinson and the Admin Moderators know they can always count on my support, both morally and financially. My standing as a true conservative has never been questioned by anyone at Free Republic, let alone a nOOb, until your recent posts. Think about that for a minute while you untwist your panties.

Look, I and my team of editors do sometimes respond and comment to freeper comments. We just don’t do it that much because FR is such a toxic environment with so many rude, nasty comments dominating the discussion. If it wasn’t like this then we’d certainly participate more regularly. But after this whole episode I’m certainly not encouraged to do so. I don’t need to be a “real FReeper.”
But fact of the matter is that I’ve even featured especially thoughtful freeper comments at NRB when they’ve had smart things to say about our articles:

And this isn’t anything new. I’ve been posting our posts here for a year now. It’s just all of a sudden that a few of you have started harassing us about it in vicious terms. (My assistant managing editor Michael van der Galien forwarded me a comment of someone “spitting” on him. Yet you lecture me about ad hominem and rudeness.) The vast majority of freepers seem to have appreciated our content.
And yes, NRB is important. The work that the Freedom Center does is important and NRB is the outreach tool for the Center. So if you don’t support David Horowitz or the Freedom Center’s efforts to fight the Left and Islamofascism then continue to trash the publication and its efforts to grow.
But don’t lecture me about my ego (um, YOU DO NOT KNOW ME — these comments about ego strike me as projection) or my tone when you’re the one who started this flame war. You get what you give. If you’d been friendly and thoughtful then that’s what you’d have gotten back from me. When Larry was friendly to me I was friendly back to him.
