Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) told reporters Monday that he intends to join forces with Rep. Michele Bachmanns (R-Minn.) newly created Tea Party Caucus.
The Republican Conference Chairman only had two words to say when asked if he would join, You Betchya!
Pence said being a part of a caucus allows for that he hopes the Tea Party Caucus will shed light on what he has seen the American people want in Indiana and across the country.

Good news.
That’s a great start, you betcha! WOO-HOO!
Challenging the “ruling class”.
Do not allow ANY Dems in (to take cover for fall elections)!!
This could become a stampede. Especially for those members facing a conservative in a primary.
Mike Pence has for a while now stood out to me as a bright light in the GOP dugout. Especially when compared to the usual what’s-old-is-old-again crowd (Romney, Huckabee, Gingrich, McCain). Might he have some potential for 2012?
... will they join the ‘federation’?
Just because someone has an R after their name doesn’t mean they support what most tea partiers want.
This seems more like wrapping themselves in the tea party flag than any real ideological shift.
Just because R’s aren’t as bad as D’s doesn’t mean they aren’t big spending pork-meisters.
He was at...one of the many rally's that I attended in DC this past year. I think it was the 9-12 rally. I said it back then, he's gonna run!
Ryan/Palin 2012
Or Pence/DeMint 2012
I'd be happy with either ticket.
Mike Pence greatly admires Mrs Palin. Too bad 'idiot factions' within the GOP have to resort to sophomoric and petty tactics in their futile attempts to undermine and smear her.
Pence/Bachmann ?
I have no problem with that ticket either. I do like Ryan though.
Just because Rs arent as bad as Ds doesnt mean they arent big spending pork-meisters.
Spot on. I've been saying for months that a lot of politicians will be jumping on the Tea Party wagon and parroting things like "repeal the bill" (Obamacare) in hopes of either getting elected or getting re-elected, even though it'll be next to impossible to repeal Obamacare as long as Obama is in office because it is highly unlikely that Obamacare opposition would be able to override a Presidential veto. The key to picking worthy candidates who associate themselves with the Tea Party movement will be to separate the parrots from the patriots. Watch what they do, not what they say.....
... seperate the parrots from the patriots.
I like that!
Easier said than done though.
My only concern is that the GOP leadership will try to co-opt the Tea Party movement and subdue it.
What else have they got to work with? Nothing.
