I started disliking him during the Keating 5 scandal. I was on an accounting team going through the records of Charlie Keating. Then he and Kerry held hearings on the MIAs from Viet Nam. I had a friend who was the wife of one of the POW/MIAs. McCain told her “Your husband is dead, get over it” with a really nasty tone to his voice. I have literally LOATHED him ever since.

Same here. I heard the same story at the time. McShame as a former POW dropped all those people in the sh!t because he didn’t want his shame of having been broken under torture to go public because he was going to be president one day. It was pretty obvious at the time that he cut a deal with his old enemies. He’s worse than his helper in that dirty deal, Mr. Rice Butt the Swiftboater Kerry, and that’s saying something.
How about the way he dumped his loyal wife when he came back? Another demonstration of his total lack of character and decency. I just can’t believe that the people of Arizona would be clueless enough to retain this guy as their senator. I’d rather close my eyes, open the phone book and put my finger on a name and send that person to Washington. I’m serious.
