What’s more, he has, to an astonishing degree, been unable to communicate even the remotest sense of who he is to the nation: a middle-of-the-roader, by any estimation, and yet a majority of the country thinks he’s a “socialist.”

What planet does this writer live on? The POTUS has never had any trouble communicating who he is, in fact; the guy won't shut up. And Americans aren't stupid, either; we see exactly who he is, a communist/socialist, bent on transforming the country.

The question I have, is how the writer happened to have missed the boat so completely ? Do journalists ever get on the web and do a little research ?
