Bush’s way of delivering “off the cuff” remarks made me want to go get a root canal. Surely he could have afforded to pay someone to teach him how to speak off the cuff when thinking about his words.
And the destruction of the GOP continues unabated.
Thanks George.
I would think the release date is of the publishers own choosing, not W’s.
Fo an unknown writer sure, that would be true but an ex-president is going to have the leverage to do what he wants when it comes to something like that. If there was a problem with the publisher then there are many other publishers that would do whatever he wants to get the book on heir label.
No effect. Zer0 owns this one.
What was so devastating about Bush?
5% to 5.6% unemployment?
C’mon people have ye no faith?
Yes.

The book actually comes out a week AFTER the elections but excerpts and snippets are always leaked...and are sure to be spun by the slobbering Left. But I think it wont matter. The Dems dug themselves a hole too deep to get out of, people may actually compare the first two years of these administrations.
I for one, am looking forward to this book. And would wait in line at a booksigning to shake this mans hand and thank him.
I would stand in line to shake President Bushs hand, too.
He made me feel safe when he was in office.
If anything, I think having President Bush in the public eye again will remind people that they had a real President before the pretend president took over. Bush wasnt as bad as people thought when they compare him to the socialist.
I noticed that, too. Kinda like being a rude driver w/ a fish bumper sticker.
Regarding monikers or stickers — I had to drive someone’s car which was plastered w/ Obama stickers. Hmmm. Was hoping nobody was judging me by the stickers.
And, some of the Bush Brigade can't remember history: Harriet Miers..... She would have been on for life, too.
I agree. Bush's presidency, with its policies and actions, led directly to an Obama victory. Bush practically laid the foundation for a progressive victory. His complete lack of conservative advocacy led the nation into thinking that we had become a leftist nation.
However, I began to realize that Bush was bad for the U.S. when I realized that he had no intention of enforcing U.S. immigration law--halting illegal immigration--or securing the U.S. Borders--in direct violation of his oath and his responsibility to uphold and enforce U.S. laws.
That's because Bush intended to make a "new America"...
We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture. Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende. For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America. Our future cannot be separated from the future of Latin America. As I speak, we are celebrating the success of democracy in Mexico. George Bush from a campaign speech in Miami, August 2000. |
Here is an excerpt of a good critique of that speech:
In equating our intimate historic bonds to our mother country and to Canada with our ties to Mexico, W. shows a staggering ignorance of the civilizational facts of life. The reason we are so close to Britain and Canada is that we share with them a common historical culture, language, literature, and legal system, as well as similar standards of behavior, expectations of public officials, and so on. My Bush Epiphany By Lawrence Auster
Do you see Harriet on the court? ...No
she lives on though deep within your head
Maybe for sane people.
Wait. You're giving Bush credit for nominating her and then accepting her "resignation" from the nomination? Did he plan that? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
ROTFLMAAO
I hope you do do also suffer from RDS (Reagan Derangement Syndrome)
because if you do Im sure we will hear ad nauseum about who he DID put on the court
True. Very true.
YEP....he listened to the people who said it was a bad idea....just like it would be good if you could hear the people who tell you BDS can be cured
Two word also : Dick Cheney
Everybody who has an opinion that doesn't agree with you is deranged.
I get it now.
“Theres a lot of buzz surrounding President Bushs book after Drudge posted about it today. Decision Points is set for release on November 9th a week after Election Day. For more information and to pre-order a copy, please visit www.georgewbushdecisionpoints.com.”
I’m sure there will selected early leaks, however.
