Minnesota Fifth District Rep. Keith Ellison first emerged into public view as a devoted follower of Louis Farrakhan. From his days as a law student at the University of Minnesota to his first run for public office in 1998, Ellison was a self-avowed devotee of the Nation of Islam. The Nation of Islam seems to have served as a way station on Ellison's journey from Christianity to Islam, though we're still waiting for the local press to ask Ellison which branch of Islam it is that comports with the tenets of Minnesota's Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party on the equality of women, abortion, gay rights and all the rest.
The Minnesota media are always looking for local angles to national stories, and I offer them this idea for one. Daniel Pipes reports today at NRO that (Farrakhan has sent letters to prominent Jews) demanding reparations from the Jewish community. Farrakhan writes to the recipients of his epistle in his familiar style: "This is an offer asking you and the gentiles whom you influence to help me in the repair of my people from the damage that has been done by your ancestors to mine." Should Jews spurn this offer, Farrakhan threatens "disgrace and ruin."
Could we get a comment from Rep. Ellison on Farrakhan's letter?
Political Correctness has removed the spine of America and replaced it with these people of hate who have come close to ruining the nation with their destructive demands....go back to Africa Mr. Farrakhan, America doesn't want you and your people who condone the oppression of women in you Muslim world or death by stoning.....
Farracarnie ain’t holding squat.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone in the media takes Calypso Louie seriously. This man is certifiable. His mothership is way overdue.
Islam is a disease.
All want the same...your stuff for free or "we'll kill you."
I was reminded how criminally insane these people are during Hannity’s program last night.
Some lunatic called up, complete with “Urban Dialect” (Which is always a sign of a good Hannity show) and started going off about the wheel in the sky, his direct contact with aliens and his new viewpoints of what Jews owed him. Certifiable doesn’t begin to describe him : Criminal is the nicest thing I can think of.
