Officials in the U.S. and Mexico say they cannot confirm a widely-circulating report out of Kuwait that a Hezbollah leader has been arrested in Mexico.

The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Seyassah reported last week that Hezbollah operatives had employed Mexican nationals with ties to Lebanon to set up a network in South America designed to target Israel and the West, and that the group's alleged leader, Jameel Nasr, had been arrested in Tijuana.

According to the report, authorities in Mexico conducted a surveillance operation on Nasr, who traveled frequently to Lebanon to receive instructions from Hezbollah militants.

About a year ago I started hearing rumors that some non-state actor in the Middle East was providing logistical and technical support for the effort of Drug Lords in South America to smuggle drugs into the US via submarine.

Of course that’s lucrative, yes.

Can anyone imagine a scarier reason why muzzie baddies would be interested in such operations...?

Those of us that live on the border have been telling the US government for years about middle east/Mexican connection. The papers on two occasions have printed articles with photos of prayer mats, arabic letters etc found after illegals crossing through the desert had run from border patrol. The government downplays it, but it is a common occurrence. It’s just a matter of time until one gets through and there’s another attack

This strikes me as the kind of thing governments don’t talk about, and shouldn’t. They should just take care of business. Trouble is, I don’t trust our government to act in a responsible manner when it comes to dealing with Muslim who want to kill us.

It's strange that no one can confirm or deny this arrest. "Can't confirm" is a weasel phrase that doesn't say yes or no. But this is the sort of news no open borders advocate wants out while Obama is telling us how the border is more secure than ever, and while both the Dims and Mexico want amnesty for illegal aliens, and do not want any real border enforcement.

Of course they cannot confirm his arrest. He’s on his way to the White House right this minute, to take his rightful place in the administration!
