It’s defending his right to *Privacy* If I want to say the N-Word in my house all day long that is my buisness.

We have a right to *privacy*

Could you please point to the place in the Constitution that grants you or Mel Gibson a “Right to Privacy?”

In the meantime, I will provide for you the place in the Constitution that grants the media the right to publish what Mel Gibson said on that tape to the mother of his chid as well as that time he told the police that “The Jews are responsible for all the wars.”

See: First Amendment

You must be using that to cover your acceptance of racism.

If someone is such a racist that they use the phrase "pack of N-words" in personal conversation, one day a neighbor or a coworker will hear such.

Not only that, fame has a price. That price is privacy. I would not choose fame for myself because the cost is too high for me. If someone could photograph a famous person blowing their nose, getting out of an uncomfortable car, or peeing, they would. Mel consistently says the most racist, hateful things, all while knowing people are surrounding him wanting juicy tidbits of his life. He CHOSE fame.

There is NO GOOD REASON for Mel's behavior to be excused on FR. It is personally saddening to me that some here do. (I am not talking about just praying for him, though saying simply that while not excoriating his words and deeds still sounds sympathetic.) The fact that the left over-calls racist at every turn does not mean that there are not true, hateful racists. And Mel Gibson is one.
