A person should not be excused for their hateful words simply because they are drunk.
A Person should not be excused for hateful words simply because they are drunk.
I forgave my Father.....
“A person should not be excused for their hateful words simply because they are drunk.”
I’m not an admirer of Mel Gibson, just an enemy of vicious lying Liberal hypocrites. My guess is if Mel had said something vile about Sarah Palin, the L.A. Times wouldn’t have objected.
And how about the Reverend Wright? He wasn’t even drunk, as far as I know. Nor were his most famous faithful parishioners, Barack and Oprah. What’s their excuse?
Quite right.
Reagan was so right when he said that conservatives have simple solutions to complex problems. Not easy solutions, simple solutions.
All politics is local, beginning in each individual's travails with temptation.
Mel, take it from a fellow traveler who suffers the same "curse" of booze as you. There's a very simple solution and it is in the palm of your hand, in the core of your heart.
QUIT DRINKING ALCOHOL and move on.
It really is that simple. Not easy. Simple.
Man up to the things that can't be excused, take 'em in the jaw, and face your future: with or without booze? Hmmmm ... Curtain #1 or Curtain #2 .... You're the only one involved -- we come into this world alone, brother, and we go out alone. Redemption for you and your career begins then.
*sigh* Too bad he'll never read this.
