No president in modern history has evaded his pres detail as easily and often as this one. It reminds me of Bill Clinton and his famous spin machine. The reporters, instead of separating fact from spin, actually kibitzed in admiring tones about how impressed they were with Bill’s spinning skills. I get the impression Obama’s pool reporters are more impressed with his ability to elude them than outraged that he’s cutting them out of the action/depriving them of a story on a routine basis.
There, I said it.
I’m sure he was getting moment-by-moment, hole-by-hole reports on the oil spill catastrophe and any other man-caused disasters, including terrorist attacks.

John:. Well we hang around the White House all day and wait for him to show up or go somewhere.
If he goes somewhere what do you do.
John: We follow him and sit around with out thumbs up our butts while he plays golf or eats a hamburger.
Is that an important job.
John : well, it pays well and the work is easy.
Would the world end if none of you showed up one day?
John: I would bet that if we never showed up at all nothing would happen since we only report on what Obama tells us to report on, and we always make him look good.In actuality we are little better than suck butts and brown nosers.
