Personal observation: I went today (100 degree temp. predicted) to Home Depot to buy ACs. At 11:30 am there were about 40 hispanics hanging around hoping for work. When I left at 2 pm, there were about 25. On other occasions I have seen as many as 100. While they may be costing some of us money, others are saving money on cheap labor for home improvement projects.”

In So Calif, before I left there, Home Depot was building ‘shelters’ from the sun & weather for the illegals who were hounding shoppers for day work.

I got so mad that I have not returned to a Home Depot store since 1992.

They are part of the problem much more than they are part of the solution.

” were hounding HD shoppers for day work”

These guys were clustered under small trees, and rarely approach anybody. Sometimes they smile and wave. I think they must have a raproachment with HD. Don’t bug the shoppers and we won’t chase you away.
