It’s like we are in some kind of bizarro world. This is just idiotic. Yet something else Republicans ought to use as a campaign issue but they probably will be afraid it will sound racist. This near abandonment of space flight though ought to at least help drag the Dems down in Florida.
Under Obongo America has become the laughing stock of the world. What a shame!
We have left the Twilight Zone and are now in the INSANITY ZONE! November 2010 and 2012 can’t come soon enough.
The plain truth is that we’ve been force feeding Arabs twenty-first century knowledge in the hope that it would lift them out of the ninth century. ‘Feel good’ hasn’t worked so far’; in fact it got the Cole bombed, the embassy bombing, 9/11, various other atrocities...Fort Hood, the DC snipers, that Egyptian airliner that went down some years back with the co-pilot yelling ‘Allah Akhbar!’(and everyone carefully looking the other way, saying the copilot had ‘mental problems’. Gee so did the Fort Hood assassin. Must be contagious in the Muslim world. Long long list of murder and mayhem with no end in sight, unless you count letting Iran get atomic weapons, which may well turn out to be exactly that: the end. This policy is doomed to failure and more American lives will be lost. Whoever ordered NASA to do this is either nuts or a traitor. Well, we know who’s in the WH.

I seem to remember a complaint from the Muslim world against Western space flight, something about dislodging Mohammad’s coffin from it’s perpetual suspension between Heaven and Earth.
Sorry about the double post, but Arabs burned down the library in Alexandria and it doesn’t look like they’ve changed a bit. Why the heck hand them American space secrets.

The best ways for Muslims to boost self-esteem are:
1. Stop strapping bombs and kill innocent civilians
and denounce fellow Muslims who think it is Koran inspired
2. Stop putting women in Burkha & let them go to schools & jobs or drive cars
3. Stop killing of Kafirs (non-believers of prophet Mohammad)
4. Learn tolerance of other religions & cultures
Without above, no amount of chest thumping will boost self-esteem.
I have honestly never met a US citizen (Repub or Dem) who believes better relations with muslims is a good thing.....exactly who is this clown pandering to?
