Well, Kimmel didn’t do or order the burning. And the kid could have just stepped out of the light or far enough away that he wouldn’t get burned. My guess is the boys with the lights decided it would be fun to burn the protestor away. They’re the guys he should be going after.
Kimmel and the network are the deep pockets here and the crew was working for them so yes they both are liable IMHO here.
