The NRA does what is best for NRA in their minds.

Sure they back Democrats who fund anti-gun groups and support anti-gun judges and stuff, as long as they SAY they are pro-gun. ie, Harry Reid.

NRA is quickly shedding its patriotic roots, and becoming a mere political special interest lobby whore.
It could be that I’m just waking up to facts that many others already know.

In light of the DISCLOSE debacle, and the rumor that NRA staffers have been told not to criticize Kagan publicly, I’ve dropped my membership in favor of supporting both the GOA and Dudley Brown at www.nationalgunrights.org . The NRA is very self serving, and has been for quite a few years. It is time to drop them and the Republican party off of a cliff.
