When I was in public school (Tennessee), 1950 to 1962, the pledge was said in home room every morning.
That was when America was the grand old USA.
Now it is the USSA.

When I was in school (a long time ago), saying the Pledge was routine. No one ever gave it a thought. Of course, back then we didn’t have to have cops in our schools, either. The libs are destroying America bit by bit.

We said the Pledge when I was in junior high, and I remember saying it some in 9th and/or 10th grade (1984/1985). I know we said it at assemblies in 11th/12th.
