The Dems have discovered the People are stupid.
Consider the bizarre slugs they have offered up as candidates.
Dukakis: This is how it began.
Clinton: History will be kind to him. He was politically gifted and a lovable old scaliwag. We despised him, but only because we had no idea what kind of Freak Show was awaiting us.
Gore. There is little to say. The mere mention of his name cries, "Io Saturnalia!"
Then Kerry.
They got more and more bizarre and ridiculous. In the case of Kerry, they imagined, "The Suckers will be glad to vote for another JFK from Massachusetts!', but he was so absurd, the suckers gagged on the idea.
So, to cap the farce, they played the Race Card: "They wouldn't DARE not vote for this offering!"
What this has accomplished has been to devalue the "Racist" epithet to being meaningless. Now, everyone is a racist, but none so rabid as those two bizarre freaks in the White House.
Add to that FDR’s liaisons and his covered-up disability and manufactured manliness and virility. And who can forget JFK’s total sham of a public persona. As a kid, I thought him larger than life when he appeared on our B&W TV. He was really just a weak little man reared by a father who was a total moral failure.
