The article is about the Rabbinical Alliance of America. According to the organization's website Rabbi Hecht is the President of that organization. Rabbi Levin is its spokesperson.

Rabbis Levin and Hecht are connected? That's great! Anybody who promulgates official statements from the Igud Horabbonim should be aware of the history of its President -- a man who issued what was in effect a Jewish fatwa that sanctioned the assassination of Prime Minister Rabin.

So, you're opposed to the idea of a Halakhically imposed death penalty? You are aware, are you not, that Judaism actually resembles islam more than it does chr*stianity, and its Theocratic/statutory nature is one such resemblance.

In my book,

"Your book" is irrelevant. The Torah is supreme.

that's terrorism -- and Israel agrees with me, which is why Hecht is banned from ever entering that country.

I take it you're opposed to rebuilding the Temple, reinstituting the offerings, and reestablishing a Theocratic Sanhedrion with the authority to execute people for idolatry.

About what I'd expect from someone who would make such a ridiculous claim as that "most rabbis accept evolution."

Of course I am. No sane person thinks rabbis should be going around pronouncing death sentences. Of course you aren't Jewish, so I'm not sure why you think any of us should care what your thoughts are on Jewish law.

Why don't you go practice Islam then? I don't need to hear some non-Jew try to tell me why Jewish law sanctions the assassination of the Israeli Prime Minister. I assure you it does not.

This is a joke, right? I think you need some thorazine. Do you know any actual Jews? This is about as far from Orthodox Judaism as you can get.
