Well, they`ve named virtually everything in W. Virginia after him, so I guess the only thing left is to name the state itself after him. I can see the signs now. Welcome to the state of Robert Byrd!

He will lie in state at the Robert C. Byrd Funeral Home. Go over the Robert C. Byrd bridge, turn left onto the Robert C. Byrd Freeway until you get to the Robert C. Byrd exit and proceed left past the Robert C. Byrd courthouse till you arrive at the Robert C. Byrd Shell station and turn left on Robert C. Byrd street. Go about a 1/4 mile, it’s on the left.
