Huckabee is deceitful shyster who bastardizes Christianity for political expediency. He will do more harm to the Christian faith than any other Presidential candidate EVER. Using his 'faith' as an excuse to release criminals, favor illegals, etc. is nothing short of a Theocracy.
And as much as I dislike Romney and Paul, I found Huckabee's treatment of both during the primaries completely despicable. Man of God, indeed.
And as a Christian, I will make sure everyone knows what a fraud of a man Huckabee is.
Huckabee is deceitful shyster who bastardizes Christianity for political expediency ... And as a Christian, I will make sure everyone knows what a fraud of a man Huckabee is.I disagree with you on this ... Huck's interview with the late Tim Russert on Meet the Press was extraordinary. He stood up for the unborn and their mothers like no one I've ever seen before or since. In fact, I started up a Web site called "Silent Souls for Huckabee" (the aborted prayed for Huck).
I too am a Christian, but for some reason, I don’t see him the way you do. His treatment of Romney, in my humble opinion, did not go far enough. Limbaugh lost a lot of credibility with me when he quasi-supported Romney last go round. Romney-care, pro-abortion, pro-gay rights (sorry, that was all pre-2006) and he is the standard bearer for conservatism?
As I said at the outset, I have questions about many of Huckabee’s political positions and did not support him in the Republican primary. However, I think for you to impugn and ridicule his personal religious sincerity is very inappropriate for this or any other forum that seeks to avoid being on the “bottom feeder” level. There are very good and legitimate reasons for disagreeing with, and opposing, Huckabee. But please don’t degrade a political discussion by introducing your personal, subjective, and politicized interpretations of his personal and private religious beliefs.
