Mike Huckabee said Sunday he's the strongest Republican to take on President Obama in 2012.
"I end up leading a lot of the polls," the former Arkansas governor told "Fox News Sunday." "Im the Republican that clearly at this point does better against Obama than any other Republican."
Huckabee said he hasn't made up his mind about running, but suggested he's strongly considering it.
I havent closed the door. I think that would be foolish on my part, especially when poll after poll shows that there is strong sentiment out there," he said.

I wouldn’t trust Huckster with a 50 ft poll.
He can just Huck off as far as I’m concerned.
Why is that hard to understand?
I’d never vote for Huckabee.
I would like to vote for a big, mean, conservative, military man. General Patraeus comes to mind. But it looks like that option is over for him now. He will be stuck in and getting blamed for Afghanistan for years to come.
Maybe getting him out of the country and away from ideas on the presidency was the reason why all of this BS Rolling Stone magazine stuff happened. It seemed kind of contrived and silly to me.
Obama won’t be running. Probably Hillary.
Wasn’t he the guy responsible for the DEATHS of 5 Seattle area police officers, due to his INABILITY to LISTEN to prosecutors who, essentially, said that would happen?
Oh well, no one’s perfect, and the kids of these slain cops should just forgive and forget.
Huck in 2012!!! (right)
He’s delusional.
From 2008 on, every GOP candidate will have to stand tall and strong against the battles of the next 10 years.
Huck would have trouble standing up to a donut.
Name recognition does not translate into an electoral win. Stick with your show Huck.
I didn't mean to imply anything . I can see I made it plain enough for all religious nitwit bigots to understand . Religious prejudice is Un-American .
Yeah, we should just run another bland establishment hack Republican who'll continue the socialist agenda.
Yup. Just like last time. FR hated McLame and was full of Fredheads. Fred split the conservative vote, McLame won the nomination, and Fred backed him big time.
oh yea... because he has been at the front of the fight against the progressives all along...
oh wait, that wasn’t him... that was Palin.
just another effort by the GOP to try and stay relative by diminishing what Sarah has done.
please huckabee, sit down and shutup
Forget about it.
Palin was elected governor by siding with democrats against republicans. She invented Alaska ethics complaints.
You should NEVER say this outloud on FR.
Thank you for posting that picture.Rinos need to be blasted with that image nationally.
OMG NO!
He's been all over the globull warming scammers.

Us conservatives in the south are not wild about him either.
you do know that both the democrat and republican parties have been infiltrated by progressives. just because someone claims to be a republican means nothing these days.
are they actually for smaller govt? Sarah proved, through her actions while governor, that she is.
the GOP and the dems are pushing for bigger govt which will give them more power. we need people that will REDUCE their power, not increase it
