In a previous post on Tuesday, I referred to a story where the non-profit immigration organization Numbers USA reported that a group of GOP senators sent President Obama a letter expressing their concern about rumors of an executive order being drawn up that would grant amnesty to illegal immigrants.
I spoke with Senator James Inhofe, Oklahoma Republican and one of the signers of the letter, on Thursday night about the matter. He noted that while nothing has been confirmed on the presidents end, he confirmed he signed the letter to the president.

We tried amnesty and it didn't work.
Amnesty is highly unpopular, and would just be the first of many more amnesties. There would be revolution in the streets.
zero’s trying to create chaos. Perhaps such a move or a threat of such a move will ignite a crisis which will give him another pretext for more government intervention and control.
Just think of it. Even Hugo Chavez would not shut down a Venezuelan oil well or open up his borders and just give amnesty. But, zero has no problem with either of these things.
zero is like the closet arsonist in the fire department. The problem is that he’s the Fire Chief.
What on earth is he smoking?
Huge legal messes seem to be Obama’s specialty.
Ain’t that the truth.
Do you think obama says this to himself in the mirror each morning ? “ It’s good to be KING “
I suspect that there are many Federal workers, even at the DHS, that are sympathetic to the cause, but they dare not speak or they will be $hit canned swiftly. The one has eyes and ears everywhere.
That government job paycheck never fails to show up. And they Gotta get in that 20 years. A government retirement is a ticket to PARADISE.
The little fed workers keep their head down and eyes averted and cower in their little cubicles like scared rabbits.
“I wonder if there is any constitutional reason it cant be used to pardon illegal aliens.”
Generally one has to have been arrested, tried, & convicted before they can be pardoned.
Nixon?
If Barry0 does that this country will quickly come to a full boil.
Nixon?
Actually, there are many examples of individuals and even entire groups being granted pardons, throughout American history. Washington pardoned insurrectionists.

Andrew Johnson pardoned, with some exceptions, the entire South, and then later pardoned most of the exceptions.

Pardoning them for entering the country illegally doesn’t make them citizens or even legal residents. It only excuses them from the crime they are pardoned for. If they remained in the country they would become guilty of being here illegally again.
If that doesn’t bring a loud demand for impeachment, we don’t deserve a constitutional republic.
this is the line for me. if this goes... we are in a full blown dictatorship.
it will also be a sure lock for dem/progressive power for the next 20+ years.
if this goes through, it’s over
Which takes us to a new beginning. Obama playing with the elections is a game changer.
Exactly what they want...they need someone to blame when the riots start for cutting back on programs and people start going hungry. Socialism is failing and the world (see world leaders at g-20 summit)is saying we need to be more conservative and cut back. I really believe that the socialists expected Americans to start bombing stuff by now.
The elites are running out of options. This is a smoke screen that they hope people will buy and get crazy over. Two seconds after the illegals are pardoned..the crime is committed anew because they are still in the country illegally...it's a joke.
They don't understand Americans at all. Which is odd because most of them were born and raised in America. Propaganda is very powerful.
