If Mattis takes it, that would be great. He ain’t no perfumed prince, that is a fact.

I heard “The Monk” was retiring soon, so be very surprised if he did take the slot.

You must be kidding me! Prove me wrong. Where was he for the Marines in the Haditha case? Think very carefully before you respond. And that is just one example.

Mattis was no friend of troops in Iraq falsely accused by Murtha.

You need to do more research on Mattis. He'd be a great choice, for Obama that is, and would fit right in with Obama's agenda to grind down our military and lose Afghanistan.

Of course he's no perfumed prince, and up until recently he had an outstanding career and was universally admired and respected by all ranks. Then he threw it all away and dishonored himself by his shameful actions in the Haditha Marines trials.

He demonstrated that he's more than willing to throw his men under the bus to advance his career, so yes, he's just the type of general Obama needs: a widely accepted public reputation for excellence (by the uninformed) to give the regime cover, but a deeply flawed character willing to put his career ahead of his men.

Agreed, but how long before Mattis does the same thing as McChrystal? Mattis is not one to sit down and be dressed down by the likes of Obamao.

He is going to tell him we are either in it to win it or let me bring our boys home. And we all know that Obamao will NOT allow an out and out victory.
