You still have not answered the question, if you feel doctors make too much money and need to be regulated and structured, you are at minimum a Socialist, at worst a Communist and at best you suffer from wealth envy. You waste allot of space insulting those who do not agree with you, try presenting a coherent argument instead.

I've read that over and over at least 4~5 times, OldGoat, but I can't see where you ask any question.

I show no sympathy for a parasitic doctor who quits his practice because he can't squeeze enough money out of MediScam, and in a frenzy of knee-jerk hypocrisy, I get attacked by a bunch of pseudo-conservative pot-call-the-kettle-black socialists.

I politely suggest that you refrain from jumping on the bandwagon so fast, and stop to think about where you really stand on this issue before pretending that you have ESP and know how I think.

a “parasitic” doctor??????????? So you believe doctors should have to work for free? Do you have a clue what it costs them to keep the doors to their practice open? Are you aware that PRIVATE carriers base their fee schedules on what Medicare allows? or that doctors treating medicaid patients treat them at a loss?????????

You are the one who called my conservative credentials into question along with anyone else who disagrees with you. I apologize for not being clear, I will re-frame my questions:

1. Do you want to see the U.S. health care system restructured to regulate what a Doctor can charge and prevent them from charging the government for services to patients on the government health care dole?

2. If you answered yes to that, are you:

a. Communist
b. Socialist
c. deluded libertarian
d. Envious of Doctors who own big houses, fancy cars and earn more than you do?

3. What are Doctors supposed to do if a patient has no private insurance and are on Medicaid or Medicare, should they treat those patients for free. I only ask because they are already charging the government less than a private insurer.

Does that help?

You want the services of a physician to keep your ticker going.
You only want to pay them what you think is fair.
Sorry, that does not work in the free market.
What I find really interesting is that you will not tell us what the cardiologist was paid for his/her services.
You know, the inplantation procedure of the defibrillator that is keeping you alive.
Since you have severe cardiac disease, you must have to visit the cardiologist frequently. You resent having to pay the bills.
Too bad, so sad.
He does not have to work for free. He has the right to charge what he sees fit. He has the right to drop his practice. He has the right to accept certain patiens. He has the right to drop patients if proper notification is given.
You are the parasite. You want his expertise to keep you alive, but do not want to pay for it.
I hope the administrators are watching your statements, because you have the look of a DU troll.
