Do not forget, that the administrative costs alone to process the claims first at the old rate, now at the new %21 cut rate, then again (hopefully) at the new increased rateonce it passes - is a few hundred million dollars.
ie just the administrative cluster f*** this inability to get a ‘doc fix’ is enourmously expensive to the medicare claims process. Its enourmously expensive to the docs’ offices as well. So, instead of tax money going to docs, its now going to administrative costs to monkey around with various changing claims processes.
Money back in teh gov pocket.
Redistribution at work.

And yes, I’m a PCP - and this is murderous.
Nothing but bad news for my entire clinic and all my patients.

I’m convinced their strategy has always been to bankrupt the private health care system, then try some ridiculous ‘bailout package’ to salvage whatever system they want to create.
Thi is a large step in that direction.
