A new US Senate Bill would grant the President far-reaching emergency powers to seize control of, or even shut down, portions of the internet.

The legislation says that companies such as broadband providers, search engines or software firms that the US Government selects "shall immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed" by the Department of Homeland Security. Anyone failing to comply would be fined.

In absolute seriousness then the most important thing to discuss is an agreed upon frequency and time to use the airwaves.

Should also reduce the trolls somewhat though I am sure they will try jamming, idiots need to be hunted down.

Get a wireless card for your laptop and a directional antenna, then drive around looking for unsecured networks.

It’s called “war driving”.

Failing that, one could always use a dialup on a landline to a remote network.

And if I know that, you can bet the hackers know things 1000 times better.
