Barack Obama will spend all of twenty minutes meeting with BP executives at the White House tomorrow, according to a White House release of the president's schedule for Wednesday--a meeting that Obama demanded.
CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller posted about the meeting on Twitter this evening:

Knoller also Tweeted that Obama will make a statement about the meeting at 12:15 p.m. from the Rose Garden.
Obama spent four hours playing golf on Sunday. That would be about three hours and forty minutes longer than he is planning to meet with the BP executives over what Obama has called the worst environmental disaster in our nation's history.
Obama has also compared the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico to the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and World War II.
Twenty minutes.
He must have spent more than 20 minutes eating Shrimp and Snow cones. What an *Hat.
I think it’s his passive aggression against Palin. After she publicized the fact he hadn’t met the BP honchos he hastily scheduled a meeting. Keeping it this short is his way of telegraphing to Palin that she can spur the meeting but she can’t force him to spend more time than he jolly well pleases.
Will he be wearing boots to step on their throats, then kicking some arse? That would really only take 20 sec rather than 20 min, so I guess the rest should be a snoozer, since he will have no interest in anything they say.
My guess is that he has to primp and prepare for White House Party Night, which is more important than the Oil Ooze.
His buddy Tiger Woods is in a slump and 0Bozo sees his chance to work on his golf game (At taxpayers & the country's expense) so that when he leave the White House he'll be the next Tiger Woods at the PGA Golf tour championship.
And besides Tiger Woods was a rare black golf pro with a great clean image.
Really, how long does it take to say hand over your company or else?

In fact, I think he goes out of his way not to meet with corporate people.
He's afraid it will be too obvious how dumb he is in comparison.

Exactly. They will size him up rather quickly, and the people working with Obama in running this administration know it.
Well, how long does it take for him to tell them what to do, and for them to fold like a cheap suit.

That was my impression when he made the excuse not to meet with them in the first place.
