By reading the text, it comes across as being even more pathetic than it sounded. The untruths and outright lies are too numerous to track.

Here is his three-point thesis:

So after 56 days, what is this Administration doing to clean up the oil? What is this Administration doing to help "our neighbors" in the Gulf? The answer to the first two is "not a thing". The answer to the third is clear - prohibit offshore drilling.

Obama new plan is to turn everything over to John Podesta.

The US president, whoever he/she may be, is responsible from the very beginning for handling spills, and has some real power in that regard (see Clean Water Act).

Obama totally blew it and meeting BP's chief for a few minutes for the first time several weeks later is something the media should be getting hysterical over - - - but don't hold your breath, The Won is also a (nominal) Dem.
