I’m sure that BP’s management has made mistakes and probably even a blunder or two. However, no corporation, no matter how virtuous, could ever overcome the years of corporation hatred coupled with the media boom occasioned by the spill. Add to the aforementioned the extreme litigiousness of the American public BP is potentially facing bankruptcy.
