Yeah, so CNN has always been concerned with Christianity’s feelings. I am sure in the news rooms the editors sit around and say...” We are really concerned that Christians are uneasy, how can we find some stories to put them at ease?”
To: redk
oh, but they don’t talk about Barack’s “is he or isn’t he Muslim?” questions? That’s rich!

I am uneasy with her religious beliefs, particularly since she was married in a Sikh ceremony and as recently as 2004 (and possibly later) was having her children attend Sikh temples. I am also uneasy with the conversion to United Methodist church, a very liberal Protestant church which is a member of the World Council of Churches and essentially believes everyone will enter heaven. It would make a very easy conversion.
I have my issues with Barrett, but he is an evangelical Christian and in a choice between two conservatives, I am going with the evangelical Christian.

This is the best they can do against her? The left must really be panicking.

Amen! The MSM doesn’t understand much about faith.
I really don’t think these kinds of attacks are going to work on her, she comes off as a really likable and honest person.

I am also uneasy with the conversion to United Methodist church, a very liberal Protestant church which is a member of the World Council of Churches and essentially believes everyone will enter heaven. Not all Methodists believe that. My parish is headed by a Bible-believing pastor.
To: upchuck
Pretty odd that the MSM would care about such a thing.

Sikh and Hindus both hate MUZZIES, whats the problem? Ain't that the truth. And the cool thing is I'm beginning to learn the heavy accents when I need tech help or firewall help for my computer. As much as the caste system is just religious bondage to my thinking I do like the people. Hope she wins big!

But while Haley's commanding win last Tuesday proved her electoral viability....it did not completely erase suspicions about her faith if we can help it.
There. Fixed it. And you are exactly right about the MSM ignoring people's concerns about Obama's Muslim background.

“Some,” in rhetorical writing, is considering the ultimate “hedge word.” When you see words like “some,” you could likely rest assured that the person writing the passage has no faith in what they’re writing as truth.

A Christian who observes the 5th (4th to our separated brethren) Commandment does not become less saved for so doing.

I really enjoy the Indian people, but in a recent thread here on FR, I learned that many of the Indians are Democrat-leaning. I spoke to a few Indians in my company, and I found that while they don’t wear their politics on their sleeves, they are very much invested in the old-world caste system and do lean Democrat in much the same way the Jews do.
Sad really. They’re very industrious, but I feel that when they come to America, they want the American freedoms without giving up the caste society mentality of their homeland.

Obama has two religions, or maybe, just maybe only one. I bet you can guess which one. He doesn’t believe in going to DC church.
