I agree. I don’t know if you ever saw it, but try to find the DVD of the BBC’s version of Richard III. The last image is of mad Queen Margaret (widow of Henry VI) sitting on top of a pile of the mutilated bodies of every person who appeared in the previous six plays (all murdered by each other or Richard), laughing maniacally. That’s what I visualize when I try to think of the current Occupant.
The implications of high-priced or unobtainable oil are far more pervasive than most people imagine. The problem is far worse than merely paying for expensive gas at the pump. Our modern civilization depends on oil to even exist. We cannot sustain a population of 300+ million Americans without oil. Everything we buy is interconnected with oil. Just a few examples —
* Modern agriculture is impossible without oil (fertilizer, fuel for food processing and transportation)
* Transportation for *everything* that is in the stores
* Most plastics are made from oil.
Try to find anything in your house (including components of the house itself) that did not require oil for creation, processing. or delivery!

I agree, we should change from Democrats to a competent congress and administration. The current congress and administration can only spend our money, blame others for their failures, and they don't have a clue on how to manage a crisis.
