He probably sees himself as the first Iron Man of America.

Interestingly...according to the D-Day Memorial Foundation website, the funding for the bust of Stalin came from one person. One. The foundation wouldn’t name him, citing privacy issues. No doubt!

I can see a bunch of bone-headed artsy fartsy bureaucrats deluding themselves in a group-think exercise as to how the Stalin bust was a good idea. But the entire $50K cost being footed by one individual? That’s some personal agenda someone has going.

Here's an appropriate protest song--Stalin Kicked the Bucket by Ray Anderson.

Has anyone mentioned that old Uncle Joe tried to change the calendar from Jesus’ birthday to Stalin’s?

I supposed he’d change it from AD to AS with the second “S” understood.

I would love to know the name even if it is meaningless to me. Someone who will fork out 50K for a bust of one of the worst dicators in human history needs to be outed.

The article is woefully inadequate. WHERE did the statue come from, WHO paid for it, and HOW did it get authorization to be placed in a US Veterans site?? These are basic pieces of information that need to be added.

If this were in my town I would hook my vehicle to it and pull it down then away (far away).

If this thing is still standing this time next week, then the people who claim outrage weren’t very outraged after all. At some point you have to ACT on your outrage, otherwise your just a wuss and need to sit down and shutup because all your doing is yapping. The yapping gets F’ing annoying. Either pull it down (every time they set it up) or admit your just a little wuss with no balls.

Wonder what part of "common sense" they flunked in First Grade. And they couldn't figure out that accepting this guy's donation might not be a good idea.

Now they're going to have their little willydoodles handed to them by the public. That sting in their gitalong will remind them in future to stay humble and keep some perspective.
