There are lots of laws that are SUPPOSED to apply to Congressmen. Back when America was a functioning Republic, being in Congress was not a ticket to be above the law.

Those days are long gone, just ask Charlie Rangel.

Etheridge won’t be charged. He won’t even be questioned regarding this event. He’s royalty.

Anyone can be arrested for assault and battery, but the powers that be have a bad habit of not arresting a high profile perp just because he committed a crime.

Either the parents [if the kid is under 18] or [if he is of legal age] the kid himself MUST PRESS CHARGES....or it goes nowhere.
