At some point in the last couple of weeks, there was some speculation Demint wasn’t all that safe after all. The complaint was supposed to be that he was neglecting South Carolina constituents for national presence. ( I don’t know why Rasmussen had him matched up against this Tennenbaum if Rawls was the Dem favorite)

Inez Tenenbaum is the two-term Superintendent of Education in SC (which is an elected executive office, SC has more of those than anywhere else in the country). She’s the only Rat that’s been able to hold statewide office during the Republican domination the past eight years, and thus is probably the biggest Democratic “name” in the state who would be considered for higher office.

That is very old. IIRC, Tennenbaum ran against Jim the last time. Jim beat her like a dog. She now has some position w/n the nobama regime.
