Two Iranian ships intended to head for Hamas-controlled Gaza are waiting for their government's approval to challenge Israel on the high seas, escorted by "volunteer marines" that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants to send "to teach Israelis a lesson."
An Iranian Red Crescent official said the two ships are waiting for the Iranian foreign ministry to give the green light for launching, according to the French news service AFP, quoting the Iranian Mehr news service. The Red Crescent said a third ship probably would join the fleet.
Red Crescent official Mojtaba Majd also claimed that more than 100,000 Iranians have signed up to board the ships, but only those with "expertise" would be accepted. Majd did not define the area of expertise required.
Ali Shirazi, the Revolutionary Guards's spokesman for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said it was "Iran's duty to defend the innocent people of Gaza."

Don’t forget the ship that was intercepted a while back. The one that was headed to the Med loaded with radioactive sand which the Iranians were planning to explode off the coast of Israel. I can easily imagine Iran sending one to Gaza hoping that Israel will blow it up thereby creating a disaster.

First look for who is moving money:
Some say the Vatican has the best intel system in the world, while others say the Mossad has them beat.
But in reality, the Asians (Chinese) have them all beat. Notice the Asians in Singapore started moving all of their gold to Canada in 1940, because they knew the UK's "Fortress in the Pacific" was a total crock and it would never hold against a Japanese assault. Heck even Churchill thought it would withstand the Nips.
Bottom Line: their are some real bad things on the Horizon.
Wheels are turning and I don't believe they can be stopped.
This has the makings for a bigger ecological disaster than the Gulf oil spill.
Can you imagine the impact of THOUSANDS of Iranian corpses washing up on the beaches?
If they try to run in with a load like that then they will blow it as soon as the Israelis try to board or shoot at it anyway.
We'll never know.
We will, however, find out if they are good divers.
