President Oil Spill, MASTER OF THE DEAD PELICANS.

Indeed. Hashem already placed (for a sign) a pelican in the sky, facing the Gulf of Mexico:

The North America Nebula (NGC 7000 or Caldwell 20) is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, close to Deneb (the tail of the swan and its brightest star). The remarkable shape of the emission nebula resembles that of the continent of North America, complete with a prominent Gulf of Mexico.

The Pelican Nebula (also known as IC5070 and IC5067) is an H II region associated with the North America Nebula in the constellation Cygnus. The nebula resembles a pelican in shape, hence the name. The Pelican Nebula is a large area of emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus (the Swan), close to Deneb, and divided from its brighter, larger neighbor, the North America Nebula, by a molecular cloud filled with dark dust.

Cygnus (swan) sounds like signet.

cygnet
c.1400, from Anglo-Fr., dim. of O.Fr. cigne "swan," from L. cygnus, from Gk. kyknos.

signet
late 14c., "small seal" (especially one on a finger ring), from O.Fr. signet "a small seal," dim. of signe "sign" (see sign).

sign (n.)
early 13c., "gesture or motion of the hand," from O.Fr. signe "sign, mark, signature," from L. signum "mark, token, indication, symbol," from PIE base *sekw- "point out" (see see). Meaning "a mark or device having some special importance" is recorded from late 13c.; that of "a miracle" is from c.1300. Sense of "characteristic device attached to the front of an inn, shop, etc., to distinguish it from others" is first recorded mid-15c. Ousted native token. In some uses, the word probably is aphetic for ensign. First record of signage is from 1976. Sign language is recorded from 1847.

sign (v.)
c.1300, "to make the sign of the cross," from O.Fr. signer, from L. signare, from signum (see sign (n.)). Sense of "to mark, stamp" is attested from mid-14c.; that of "to affix one's name" is from late 15c. Meaning "to communicate by sign language" is recorded from 1700.

Cygnus is a northern constellation. Its name is the Latinized Hellenic (greek) word for swan. One of the most recognizable constellations of the northern summer and autumn, it features a prominent asterism known as the Northern Cross (in contrast to the Southern Cross).

Could I interest you in a slice of burnt toast bearing the image of Elvis?

Seriously: The shapes of those wispy nebulae have absolutely no relevance to current events.

Regards,
