Jesse Ventura and Stuart Smalley both come from Minnesota, and yet it’s Alabama (or some other Southern state) that usually gets pegged as the least educated state. Why is that?

At least with Franken we can say he won because he cheated. Don’t have an excuse for Jesse, though.
