Face it...she quit, she resigned, she 86 her job, she vacated the office, she didnt fulfill her term as Governor. Lots of terms apply. That being said it not necessarily a bad thing. People quit jobs every day for good reasons as well as bad. The one thing you can say is that she wasnt fired.”
AHAH. You HATE her admit it! She didnt quit she resigned. That is much more presidential and principle oriented. She couldnt work for FNC (or do the book tour) if she stayed governor, everyone will understand that.

She couldnt work for FNC (or do the book tour) if she stayed governor, So she resigned for the money, then. I was not going to make that statement and be attacked for it, but I am glad you were honest about it, here I gave her the benefit of the doubt to allow that she did it to focus on bigger things rather than simply money.

She single handedly started the Tea Parties. They never would have happened without her.

That is a good point I never thought of. That could be the next vanity on this called :”She wasn't fired, she quit”

Actually I don't hate her. Simply telling the truth. I know it hurts your feelings but personally I don't care. The simple fact remains...she vacated a job in which people expected her to fulfill. She failed to honor her committment.
You can TRY to paint her resignation as not quiting but the simple fact remains...she did.
I'm not saying her reasons were not legitimate and overall probably was in the best interest of the State of Alaska.
Instead of crying over verbiage why not simply tell the truth as to why she left the office.
