The top official at the American Civil Liberties Union seems to be losing patience with President Barack Obama and his administration.
Speaking at a conference of liberal activists Wednesday morning, ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero didn't mince his words about the administration's handling of civil liberties issues.
"I'm going to start provocatively ... I'm disgusted with this president," Romero told the America's Future Now breakout session, according to blogger Marcy Wheeler of Firedoglake.com.

Welcome to the party, pal.
Join the club, we’ve got jackets.
Why would ACLU expect this president to handle civil liberty issues well when Obama plans to violate as many as he possibly can.
Far left libtards are unhappy that The Zero isn’t peacenik enough for them. It’s not like they’ll vote for the GOP because of it, though.
So what, the ACLU doesn’t run the country, nor does it have a right to.
I don’t buy it.
I've heard them whispering anti-revolutionary thoughts!
BURN THEM!!
Sometimes the enemy of my enemy is still my enemy.
Heehee. The Loony Libs believe that this county is as left as them and it isn’t...this is a center right country, who pays attention only half the time and easily falls for hopey/changey rhetoric....Obama and the Dimocrat party understand this but the base doesn’t. Can’t wait for the Loons to explode b/c they aren’t understanding why he’s not full throttle socialist while the rest of the country is getting pissed b/c he’s half throttle socialist. The O thought he could walk a tightrope and keep everyone happy but that race card thingy has just about played itself out...
You know you might be a wacko if Obama is to far to the right for you.
Me neither.
I think Obama is doing a little PR scam here. He gets some of his lefty buddies to criticize him, giving the impression that he is moving to the center.
Where have I heard this story before? Oh, that's right - Klinton in '94.
Yes, that is profoundly unfair, indeed. Obambi could not even begin to be 1/1millionth of the great American that George W. Bush was and is.
Disgusted, yes. But for all the wrong reasons.
Exactly
Right ON!
Back in the Day, there was SDS. Then, they began to fight for power and the result was RYM I and RYM II (Revolutionary Youth Movement). Then, I can’t recall which RYM, splintered again to birth the Weather Underground. These splinters also birthed the Black Panthers and the Brown Panthers.
They mostly all decided, soon afterward, to work within the system, at least those that escaped prison. Today, they are in charge. True to form, the purges have begun.
Maoists, what’s not to love?
