This country is waking up I hope it’s not to late. My friends in the South are the Confederate Battle flag as a protest against obama and my friends in the North are flyibg the Gladsen flag in protest against obama. . North and South uniting agains one common foe, obama. Ain’t it wonderful!
In Texas, there are also some Texas revolutionary flags of good pedigree, including the Alamo flag/First Texas Republic flag, which is a gold star on a medium-blue background (brought to the Alamo by the New Orleans Greys, something Texians didn't and Texans don't forget). A later version has the word "TEXAS" printed in the angles of the star, in a rosette fashion, and of course there's the current flag, which was the flag of the Republic for about eight years.
Then there's the Gonzales Flag, with its cannon and star, and the motto "COME AND TAKE IT" (they came, but they couldn't take it).
