Correct. This administration has emboldened the haters on the left and they feel as if they can spew their hatred at will. Worse, many are sanctimonious in their hatred; as if their hatred represent some superior cultural attitude. The entire progressive movement has always been based on envy and hate. They just feel more comfortable showing their true colors now.
I think Civil War II is looking all the more likely. There is just no possibility of reconcilation with this if we ever were “conciled” in the first place.
